About Us
Chazy Youth Hockey was officially incorporated as a not for profit corporation in 1986 with the objectives to promote the general welfare through the guidance of boys and girls under adult supervision, participating in a youth hockey program, to provide them with wholesome recreational athletics and sport activities in order to improve their health physically and their mental well being, to expose our youth to the enjoyment of skating in a team effort, enabling them to learn good sportsmanship and to engage in any and all other activities that would lead to the attainment of these objectives.

Scott Weber Wolter
08/14/1989—02/01/1997
Scott Weber Wolter was 7 years young and a mite with the Chazy Flyers, wearing jersey #2. He was a fun, loving, and kind boy and together with his sister Brittany and brother Matthew he was so happy to know that we would soon begin fundraising to build our own ice rink.
Even at this young age he knew that this would be a great family affair and would mean he would get to skate more often.
On February 1, 1997, Scott was on his way home from a hockey tournament. This would be the last time he played. Our hearts were shattered when our little boy was killed in a car accident that evening.
We know that Scott looks upon us with pride and love as this dream has become a reality.
Scott Andrew House
12/07/1976—06/24/1994
Scott Andrew House loved life and lived it with a passion. He also loved hockey and spent many years wearing jersey #21 for CYH.
Tragically, in 1994, his life was cut short when he died in a car accident. He was only 17.
In honor of his life and love for this game of hockey, we are inspired to do what we do today. Scott would be so proud of all that has been accomplished in this place.
